About the Administration

Allison Sulkson
Principal

It’s great to be a wolverine!!!  I have had the pleasure of being principal here at Wolf’s Crossing for the past seven years.  In 2005 I was given the unique opportunity to open this building. The staff here is amazing and truly represents the brightest and best Oswego has to offer.

I attended Wheaton schools from kindergarten through high school.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. My area of concentration was special education. I began my teaching career working as a teacher for Kendall County Special Education Cooperative at Boulder Hill Elementary School.  My students were in grades third through fifth and were identified under the special education category of Emotionally Disturbed.  After obtaining my Masters’ in Administration from Northern Illinois University, I continued to work in special education as a Coordinator for five years with Kendall County.  At that time, I decided it was time to move into regular education and was given the wonderful opportunity to be the Assistant Principal at Homestead and The Wheatlands Elementary schools here in Oswego.  For three years I served as the Assistant Principal at both buildings.

I currently live in Wheaton with my husband and two boys, Andrew 4 and John 3.  We live two blocks from our childhood homes which is why we have chosen to continue to call Wheaton our home.  In my free time I love to read, go shopping (like any girl) and love to go antiquing to find those hidden treasures!

I am truly appreciative of our students, staff and community.  Wolf’s Crossing is a great place to work!  I hope to continue to work collaboratively with our families in order to establish an optimal learning environment for our students both academically and socially.  Thanks to each one of you for entrusting Wolf’s Crossing with your most precious gift, your children.  It’s a joy to work with each one of them!

Welcome back Wolf's Crossing families! I am so honored to become a member of this wonderful community. This is my first year as an administrator and I am excited and eager to be working with such a fantastic group of students, staff and parents.

I grew up in Glenview and graduated from Glenbrook South High School. I attended Northern Illinois University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in education. My first years in teaching were spent in fifth grade in the Carol Stream School District. After I had my first son, I wanted to work closer to home, which was in Plainfield, and began my career in the Plainfield School district. I taught fourth grade and fifth grade and was also the differentiation specialist. After my second son was born, I returned to school to get my Master's in Administration through Concordia University.  I have had my administrative certificate for about five years and decided it was time to continue my journey and become an administrator. I am excited to begin this new adventure with Wolf's Crossing.

I currently live in Chicago with my husband and two sons, Connor 7 and Ethan 5. We love spending time together and watching  my sons play baseball and soccer. We also enjoy traveling to different water parks. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking and decorating cakes as well as shopping for shoes.

It has been wonderful getting to know the families at Wolf's Crossing and I look forward to a fantastic school year full of learning, growth and fun.
