The mission of Oswego Community Unit Schools, a unique partnership of students, staff, families, and community, is to ensure each student develops the capacity to thrive as a successful contributing citizen by providing exemplary educational experiences in a safe, caring, and responsive learning environment.

Objectives

At least 97% of our students will meet or exceed district and state standards by 2012.

All students will understand, develop, and consistently demonstrate the character traits of responsibility, trustworthiness, citizenship, caring, fairness, and respect.

Each student will achieve challenging personalized goals in preparation for a successful transition to further education or a meaningful endeavor of his or her choice.
