We would like to thank you for the very generous donations that were given toward our Support Our Troops collection. We are very appreciative for your generosity, and we look forward to sending the many items overseas to our heroic soldiers. Our Support Our Troops Club has been working hard to sort and package the items, and we have far surpassed the number of items that we expected to receive! In an effort to ship the many boxes of supplies to the military bases via the US Postal Service, we are looking for some additional support. If you are willing to donate any amount of money toward the shipping costs, we would greatly appreciate it! We would like to have the boxes shipped before the holidays, so please turn in any monetary shipping donations no later than Friday, November 20th. October 23, 2009 | Coats Needed for the Upcoming Winter Season
The Oswego Rotary Foundation has generously offered to sponsor their annual coat drive again this year. The coat drive will run from November 2-December 18. The donation box will be located in the front hallway here at Wolf's Crossing. As a reminder, the coats should be new or gently used and all sizes are welcome. Last year our school district was able to donate over 950 coats to people in need - each and every coat was given to someone who needed it.
