Hi! My name is Shannon (Ford) Lueders and I am in my third year as assistant principal at Thompson Jr. High. Before coming to Thompson, I spent ten years at Jefferson Middle School in the West Aurora School District as a technology teacher and dean/counselor.
I grew up in a small town in southeastern Iowa. I have a bachelor’s degree in History from Western Illinois University in Macomb and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Aurora University.
I live in Aurora with my husband Steve (we got married in May 2009). Between us we have 3 kids (Jake, Abby and Erin) and 4 dogs (Attila, Hawkeye, Coco and Sabrina) which makes for a very full house! I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the Thompson community. We have awesome students and a wonderful staff!
