Principal's Message
November 9, 2009
First quarter went by very quickly here at Thompson Junior High. We had a very successful first nine weeks of the 2009/10 school year. Thank you to all students and families who participated in our annual magazine sale and Home and School fundraiser. The funds generated from both sales will go directly to our students.
Congratulations to all members of our bands and choirs on successful first quarter concerts. Our fall sports teams also had outstanding seasons again this year. Thompson’s drama department presented Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior to a packed house each night they performed. I am very proud to see so many students involved with a variety of extra curricular activities here at Thompson.
I am looking forward to seeing many parents at our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 23rd and 24th. I also encourage all parents to attend our monthly Home and School meetings. These meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30.
