Thompson Cross Country
Thank you to all of our parents and runners for making 2009 a great success. We have had many runners improve their individual times. This was our only real goal this year, individual accomplishments. It was our pleasure to have all of the kids on the team. Best of luck to our 8th graders who will be moving on to the HS next year, and we look forward to having ALL of the 6th & 7th graders back next year!
What is Cross Country?
A great sport for 6/7/8th Grade Boys and Girls, cross counrty enables our Tigers to compete against other schools and themselves. Coach Williams and Coach Desiderio encourage beating a personal time, not a time set by others with different ability levels. This method has allowed Thompson to become one of the dominant harrier teams in the Oswego areas.
Please make sure if your child is going to miss practice or a meet to let Mr. Williams (jwilliams1022@oswego308.org) or Mr. Desiderio (ddesiderio0822@oswego308.org) know. Also if you have any questions.
