School Improvement Plan
2009-2010
1. Increase reading achievement to the level of 90% or higher in the area of meets and exceeds on the ISAT and improve overall reading achievement in all grade levels.
2. Increase math achievement to the level of 90% or higher in the area of meets and exceeds on the ISAT and improve overall math achievement in all grade levels.
3. Improve overall writing ISAT writing achievement in grades 6 and 8 to no less than 75% of all students meeting or exceeding state writing standards.

CHARACTER COUNTS!sm bases its programs and materials on six ethical values that everyone can agree on — values that are not political, religious, or culturally biased.

District 308 will engage all members of our partnership to integrate, reinforce, and assess the character traits to address those social issues that negatively impact learning.
Our Plan
Implement a Character Counts Train the Trainers program for community partners.
Investigate and secure supplemental funding resources to support Character Counts Initiatives.
Ensure all Schools are consistently implementing discipline procedures in a manner consistent of six pillars of Character Counts.
