Welcome to The Wheatlands family!
I have found this to be a warm and inviting school, and hope you come to feel the same. Before being named Principal to The Wheatlands I served as assistant principal at Fox Chase Elementary in District 308 for 3 years. However, I have worked in the district since 1992, first as a teaching assistant, then as an elementary music teacher. Prior to starting a family, I was a first grade teacher in a neighboring district.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Aurora University in 1982, and my Master’s in Educational Leadership from the same school, twenty years later in 2002. My husband and I live in Oswego and have two grown children who attended the Oswego schools through graduation. I am proud to belong to a district that values excellence in times of rapid growth.

 During my four years teaching first grade at The Wheatlands, I was able to develop many relationships with the parents, students, and staff. Having the opportunity to continue those relationships as an administrator has been special to me. I have seen so many positive things happen at The Wheatlands and I look forward to serving and growing with the school community.
