Third Grade
I was born and raised in Oswego, attending Boulder Hill,
Thompson, and Oswego High School. I received my bachelor’s degree in
elementary education from Illinois State University. Upon
graduating, I began my teaching career at East View teaching 3rd
grade. In 2001, I had the privilege of opening The Wheatlands and
spent 3 years teaching 5th grade. In 2004, I was able to help open
Lakewood Creek and moved back to teaching 3rd grade. I received my
master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St.
Francis, and am now currently serving as the assistant principal of
Wolf’s Crossing Elementary.
My husband and I currently live in Montgomery with our daughter,
Delaney. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy
reading, scrapbooking, and shopping.
