Community Partners

Prairie Point Elementary School maintains several community partnerships to create dynamic learning opportunities for our students and staff. Listed below are many of our partners and some of the activities they participate in.


Aurora Skate
Home & School Family Fun Nights

Bickford Senior Living Community
Prairie Point has been partnered with Bickford, an assisted living facility, located right next door to our school. Students have the opportunity to walk next door to visit with the residents. Classes have performed reader's theater plays, read, square danced, and played games with the residents. Our morning Kindergarten Halloween parade takes a stroll through the halls of Bickford for the residents to enjoy as well. We look forward to this continued partnership that has been enjoyed by residents and students alike.

Oswegoland Park District
Members from the Oswego Park District work with our School Leadership Council and School Community Building and Public Awareness Committee to develop programming for students. Partnerships have included summer reading activities, Accelerated Reader activities, ornament building, and poster making.
