The past month here has been one busy month!

October 9, 2009

Dear Prairie Point Families:

The past month has been a busy one here at Prairie Point. We

are finally in the swing of things. Thank you so much for all your

help and support during the opening weeks of school. We’re off

to a great start!

Based on parent feedback on the Prairie Point Surveys, the office

staff and I have worked diligently over the summer to evaluate

who we are, and what service we provide. We’ve written a

mission statement that I’d like to share with you that exemplifies

our goal for all interactions in the Prairie Point Office.

Prairie Point Office Mission Statement

“Our mission in the Prairie Point Office is to work together to serve

our parents, students, teachers, staff, and community by providing a

friendly, welcoming and safe environment that meets the physical

and emotional needs of those groups. We will communicate in a

timely and effective manner to attain the common goal of providing

our students with an environment where they can learn, grow, and

succeed.”

It is important to us that we provide all of those who come through

the office with excellent service. We will be sending an additional

survey in the spring to assess our growth in this area. The goal of

the Prairie Point office is to increase our satisfaction rating by

50%. Additionally, please use the card in this newsletter to provide

feedback to us after a visit to the office. This card can be

mailed to Prairie Point, can be returned in your child’s backpack,

or can be dropped off in the front office. We also have cards

available in the office. We can’t grow and improve without your

input and feedback, so please take a few minutes to fill out these

cards.

Throughout this year, if you have questions, concerns, or comments,

please feel free to call or email Mrs. Schafermeyer or

me. Our contact information is on the website and on the front

of this newsletter.

Sincerely,

Heidi Podjasek

Principal
