Parent Organization
Each District 308 school is generously supported by the efforts of its parent organization. The individuals in these groups have graciously volunteered countless hours of time and effort to help our students thrive. From fund raising, assistance at school events, and the development of special programs to communicating with parents to keep them informed about their children’s education, the parent/school relationship is a critical and valued partnership. District 308 so strongly believes in the partnership between the school and families that it is the cornerstone of the district’s mission.
The district encourages parents to join their children in forming a close relationship with their school. By working together towards a common goal, everyone—especially our children—will benefit.

Your Home and School Association Executive Board welcomes you to our seventh year and is looking forward to another successful year!
By working together we can provide a great year for our children. It is our goal to help create the Plank Pirates' spirit through a balance of both educational and recreational activities. By joining the Home and School Association, YOU can help us accomplish that goal.
Your membership in the Plank Home and School Association will allow us to provide much needed financial support to serve the best interests of our children. Your membership does not require active participation. You volunteer to participate in our activities as your schedule permits.

Culver's Night - May 16, 2013
Come out and enjoy dinner with the family at our May Culver’s Night! Plank Home and School receives a percentage of all sales. Just present your flier or mention you are there with Plank!

End of Year Dance - May 17, 2013
Our last dance of the year will be May 17, 2013 from 7-9 pm. Volunteers are needed to help set up or work the event. Please contact Becky Menter at beckymenter@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions or would like to volunteer.

8th Grade Recognition Night - Refreshment Donations Needed - May 30, 2013
Plank Home and School will be serving refreshments for 8th grade recognition. We will need many donations of cookies and baked treats. Please contact Loree Thompson at lgabey@att.net if you can donate baked goods.

Buona Catering Benefit Days
A donation of 10% from any spring or summer party placed with BUONA Catering will be donated directly to Plank Junior High Home and School. Orders must be executed by August 31, 2013. Click here for the flyer and details.

Coke Rewards, Campbell's Soup Labels, and Box Tops
Please continue to collect Coke Rewards, Campbell’s Soup Labels and Box Tops! The funds we raise from these support the students and staff of our school! Students can turn them in to their home room teachers.

Direct Contributions
Did you know that Plank Home and School accepts Direct Contributions and that they are tax deductible? If you are unable to attend a Culver's Night or other Family Night Out event but still want to support your school, complete a Direct Contribution Form found on the Plank Home and School web page under the Home and School Financial Forms link and send it in with your student.
