On Saturday, January 22, 2010 the Plank Cheerleaders finished off their season by competing in the IESA State Cheerleading Competition held in Peoria. Sixty-two junior high and middle schools competed at this event in two divisions, cheer and routine. The girl’s hard work paid off and they walked away from their second competitive year with a sixth place finish in the cheer division and a fifth place finish in the routine division. Thank you to everyone who has Pirate Pride and supported these dedicated cheerleaders including Plank staff and families!
Mark your calendars for the 2010-2011 tryouts;
Friday, April 16: Informational Tryout Meeting 3:15pm to 4pm
Thursday, April 22: LAST DAY to turn in required paperwork/physical
Monday, April 26 through Thursday, April 29: Cheerleading Clinics 3pm to 5pm
Friday, April 30: Tryouts beginning at 3:15pm
