Jodi Ancel
Principal

Mrs. Ancel has been the principal of Old Post Elementary School for 3 years. Before coming here, she was the Assistant Principal at Fox Chase. She grew up in Plainfield and still lives there with her husband, two sons, Jay (19) and Jake (13), and 2 dogs, Mojo and Emma. Mrs. Ancel got her Bachelors Degree from Illinois State University and her Masters Degree from Northern Illinois University. She taught in Plainfield for 18 years before coming to Oswego. She always wanted to be a principal because of her love for helping children.
Mrs. Ancel is thrilled to be a part of the Old Post Community. The students are friendly, respectful, and show a love for learning! The faculty and staff are extremely talented, knowledgeable, fun, and love children. The parents work as a team with the school to make each day a positive educational experience for the students.
Besides being a principal, Mrs. Ancel loves to shop, travel, play golf, and relax with family and friends. She collects teddy bears and Willow Tree angels.
Kathleen Dineen-Hendricks
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Dineen has been with the Oswego 308 School District for two years. This is her first year as the assistant principal of Old Post Elementary School. She is very excited to be here and to be a part of such an incredible learning community. Each day she has the opportunity to witness top notch teaching and learning in the classrooms of the school. She marvels at the collaboration and dedication of both students and staff. Students are engaged and encouraged to strive for excellence on a daily basis.
Mrs. Dineen comes to Oswego 308 with 22 years of teaching and learning experience. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She received her first master's degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction and her second master's degree in Educational Administration from Governor's State University. She has spent her teaching career in the Burr Ridge School District teaching a variety of grade levels. In addition to being a part of the Old Post community, she also has the opportunity to serve the students and staff at Hunt Club Elementary School as the assistant principal.
Mrs. Dineen enjoys spending her free time with her family. She lives in Naperville with her husband and three children.
Judy Malnick
Principal's Secretary
Mrs. Malnick was born and raised in South Dakota, where she graduated from Dakota State University. She has lived in Illinois with her husband, Greg, for the last 30 years. They have two sons, Nicolaus (32) and Aaron (29). Mrs. Malnick began her career in District 308 at Boulder Hill School, first as a teachers’ assistant, and then as the attendance secretary. When Old Post opened in 1997, she became the Principal’s Secretary.
Mrs. Malnick enjoys working with children, parents, and staff. Every day is different, and she enjoys the variety of duties. A sense of humor, a friendly disposition, a joy of being around children, and a need to be able to juggle several tasks simultaneously is a must for her job. Mrs. Malnick also enjoys reading, playing Bunco, board games and cards, taking walks, and lunching with friends. She collects paperweights and angels.
Connie Berry
Building Secretary

Mrs. Berry is now in her 9th year as the school secretary for Old Post School. Prior to becoming the school secretary Mrs. Berry worked for MetLife Insurance Company as a Life Underwriter for 20 years.
Mrs. Berry was born and raised in Aurora and now lives in Montgomery with her husband Jim, daughter Melissa and son Jake. She enjoys taking long walks with her husband, spending time with her children, taking family vacations and NASCAR racing. She collects Eeyore items and snowmen.
