In sports’ announcements, Girls’ Track & Field athletes, Awards Night is tonight at 5:00 p.m. in the Community Room. All players at all levels interested in OPB Summer Camp, a reminder that you are required to register at or through the Park District before the first day on Thursday, June seventh. Varsity players who plan on playing this weekend in the Riverside-Brookfield Shootout need parent permission; please see Coach Schnable this week and pick up the waiver and release form. Leave time from OHS Door one on Saturday morning is nine a.m.; first game is at eleven a.m. vs. Zion-Benton. Equipment hand out for those coming to Varsity Football Summer Camp will be held on Thursday, May thirty first at eleven a.m. in the Fieldhouse. See Coach Cooney if you have questions. 
ATTENTION ALL DANCERS: Do you love to dance? Do you have experience in jazz, ballet, lyrical or hip hop dance styles? If so, come to the Pantherette JV & Varsity Dance Team Auditions! There will be an informational meeting today at six p.m. in room eighty six. Tryouts will be the following week beginning Monday, June fourth. See Mr. Sweeney if you have any questions. Archery Club members: There will be an end of the year meeting in the small gym on today at two forty five. Snacks will be provided, bring your own drink. All returning and interested new Speech Team speakers will have a meeting today at two forty five in Room two zero four. Attention all student artists, there is a great opportunity to continue your art skills this summer at the annual Summer Enrichment Art Camp, this July thirtieth thru August tenth. You meet for four hours and work on projects, improving skills, better understanding of the art process, and creating an Art Community. Please see Mr. Skura for further details
A reminder to all students, your library books were due last week. Please return them to the LRC. All overdue books have a ten cent per day fine which counts during the summer months. Don't start next year off owing money. Turn in your books now. AP Studio Art students for next year. you have a very important meeting today after school. Students, please pick up any artwork that might be with your art teachers before the end of the year. The culinary/fashion trip abroad to Paris, France and Milan, Italy for June two thousand thirteen still has a few openings for interested travelers.   Fund-raising has begun and traveling time will be here before you know it. If you are still interested in traveling but have not registered, it's important to get registered as soon as possible. Please see Ms. Bridge in room one ninety four for more information
Several weeks ago Oswego High school sent twenty students to Springfield, Illinois to Participate in the Illinois Skills USA State Championships. These students were chosen via regional testing. Oswego High school did very well and took away the following Medals: Josh Howell won second place for precision machining, Nick Tadych won second place for Culinary Arts, Taryn Trenter won first place for the Food and Beverage Service part of Culinary Art, Tyler Walgren won first place for Cabinet Making, and Evan Tkaczyk won first Place for Technical Drafting Computer Aided Design. All of the first place winners are going to Nationals in Kansas City this June. They will represent Oswego and the State of Illinois as they compete against competitors from the other fifty states. Think about getting involved in Skills USA.
