Attention All Seniors; do you remember all of the papers you wrote while here at Oswego High School? Did you know that all of your English teachers have been putting your papers into a portfolio since freshman year? Well, they have, and it is about time for you to get all of your papers back! Your advisory teacher should have your portfolio, and will hand them out during today’s advisory. If you do not wish to keep your folder, please recycle the paper inside to portfolio, but give your teacher the folder to re-use. Otherwise, enjoy reviewing your old writings and observing how much you have grown. If you do not receive your portfolio, please see your most recent English teacher, as he/she might have it in a classroom file.
In a quick sports update, the Sophomore baseball team defeated the Oswego East Wolves in the third game of the series with a score of five to zero. Tucker Vann was the winning pitcher, allowing only six hits and striking out seven. Vann allowed 6 hits while striking out 7 hitters. Charlie Jakubowski led the Panthers offense with a double and two scored runs, while Zach West contributed three RBI’s and Vann had a single. Congratulations boys! And in a final reminder to all students, please remember that the dress code still applies as the weather gets warmer! All students must be covered from shoulder to mid-thigh, and hats, headwear, and bandannas are not allowed.
