Congratulations to the winners! Please go to the Main Office to pick up your Gift Certificates. Tickets are now on sale for the musical, Hairspray. You can get them during your lunch hour in front of the auditorium or online at www.ohstickets.org. Tickets are eight dollars for students and nine dollars for adults. Tickets are one dollar more at the door, so get your tickets early. Students, as the weather starts to get warmer, please remember the school dress code; students must be covered from shoulder to mid-thigh and hats, headwear, and bandannas are not allowed.
In sports’ news, on Thursday the Varsity softball girls completed a sweep of the cross town rival Wolves by winning seven to six in come from behind fashion. Stand out players included Stephanie Prentice, Jess Clark, Brooke Riess, Jessa Garcia, and Kelsea Baker. On Thursday, the Freshmen Softball team faced cross-town rival Oswego East and came away with a 21-2 win. Brooke Linden, Ashley Jourdan, Margaret Smerz, Alisyn Fiacchino, Kira Blanchflower, and Hannah Bafundo all had great games. The Sophomore Baseball Team defeated Plainfield South Friday afternoon 6-2 thus winning the series. Charlie Jakubowski, Tyler Gibson, Tucker Vann, Zack West, Zack Manzella, and Al Pool all played well. Oswego Panther Basketball Summer informational meeting is on Tuesday May fifteenth at two forty in the Small Gym. Questions? See Coach Schnabz in the Deans' Office. For any girl interested in trying out for Girls Basketball next year there will be a meeting in room two zero five at two forty five on Thursday. Next season and summer information will be discussed. In club announcements, there is a Student Council meeting after school today. They will be working on their May community service project. They will be meeting in Room one eighty six. French club is watching a French film today starting at two forty five in room two twelve. Feel free to come join them for a good movie and popcorn! FEA is meeting Tuesday before school at seven a.m. in room two eleven. They will be planning our senior party, and teacher recognition. All members are welcome. Snacks will be provided.
