Class Ring Informational
Night and Sales Event
OEHS and Herff Jones cordially invites you to “Family
Ring Night” at Oswego East High School on Monday,
September 24th from 5
pm to 8 pm in the Commons. Ring samples for the Official
Class Ring will be on display and a sales representative
will be available to answer questions and take orders. A
$50 deposit is required to place an order.
Herff Jones will also be available to accept orders from
students on Tuesday, September 25th
during the lunch hours. Again, a $50 deposit is required
to place an order.

College
night for Seniors
Seniors at OEHS, and their parents, are invited to
attend College Night for District 308 on Tuesday,
September 25, 2007. This program is for Oswego AND
Oswego East seniors. The presentation will take place in
the OHS Auditorium at 6:30 PM – located at 4250 Route 71
in Oswego. The college application procedure will be
discussed, including how to obtain applications,
recommendations, transcripts, etc.

Advanced Placement Program Informational Meeting
An informational meeting to explain the AP program will be
held in the Community Room at OEHS at 6 PM on Wednesday,
September 26th.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
1) provide an overview of the AP program
2) discuss the process/criteria for getting into an AP class
(and the streamline from AT to honors to AP)
3) Inform parents about the test and encourage participation
4) Inform parents of the test scoring structure and college
implications
5) Answer questions
The meeting will end at 6:45 PM in order to give parents a
chance to attend the Curriculum Night scheduled immediately

Curriculum Night
Oswego East High School will hold a Curriculum Night for
parents at 7 PM in the main gym on Wednesday, September 26.
This is an opportunity to meet their child’s advisor and
teachers — and experience the same schedule that your
student follows daily. Parents will learn more about the
advisory program, information about the class expectations,
curriculum, grading policies, ways to contact the teacher,
etc. Parents should bring their child’s schedule.
The school is located at 1525 Harvey Road in Oswego.
