  • H.O.W.W.L. This year Oswego East High School is starting a new fund raising campaign to support students whose holidays may be dampened by financial hardship. Teens from the ages 15-19 are usually the ones who are forgotten during the holiday season. This includes many families of OEHS students that do not have enough money to purchase gifts for the holidays. H.O.W.W.L. (Helping Our Wolves with Love) is an opportunity for the OEHS student body, staff and community members to join forces and remember our students. The money raised will be distributed among a group of students in gift card form. Last year proceeds helped out 50 OEHS students.

1. Domino's Pizza of Oswego is sponsoring a "Dough Raiser" for us on December 12th and 13th. We will be distributing flyers on Monday the 10th with all the details (we haven't decided how just yet). Basically, they will give us a portion of the sales from the 12th and 13th when people order pizzas and present our flyer to the Domino's employee. So, you all now know what you are having for dinner/lunch next Wed. or Thurs. There will also be a place on the flyers for students to include the name of their advisor and the advisory that places the most orders will win some free pizza. So, if you could talk about this with your advisory on Monday it would be great!

2. We will be having a few raffles this weekend during the Holiday Tour. We will have a 50/50, Pizza for a Year from Domino's (a $144 value) and some Wolf Wear to raffle off. If you are not attending the holiday tour, you may purchase your raffle tickets on Friday and we will notify you if you have won. Tickets for all raffles will be $1 or 6 for $5.
