Auto Club - website
The auto club is for any student interested in learning about the areas of automotive that are not covered in classes.  In the club we learn about high performance, racing, restorations, modifications, and fabricating.  We meet once a week to learn about those areas in an informal lecture, discuss the automotive world, fix/modify the students cars, and to make improvements to our shop and auto program. Meets Tuesdays, 2:45-3:30 in H111.

Book Club/Reading Club
Members of Book Club meet monthly to discuss a wide variety of books, giving each other reviews and recommendations. Many members participate in the Abraham Lincoln Illinois High School Book Award program as well as the Secretary of State Read for a Lifetime program. Choral Club (Including Spotlight Vocal Jazz)\
Spotlight is a vocal jazz group which meets after school. We sing professional level music, and perform at school concerts, community events and competitions. Auditions for the 08-09 group will be held in May 2008.

Drama Club - website
Drama Club is open to any student participating in the Fall, Winter, or Spring main stage productions.  In addition to the school shows, there will be field trips to several theatres in the Chicagoland area.  The Drama Club, along with about 4,000 students from other Illinois high schools, also participate annually in the Illinois High School Theatre Festival the first Thursday-Saturday of January at Illinois State University.

Ecology Student Club
Members meet regularly to maintain the school's recycling program and keep abreast of ecology, conservation, and social concerns.  Speakers and authorities discuss with membership various current and interesting topics.  Membership is open to the entire student body.

Engineering Club - website
The Engineering Club will be participating in FIRST Robotics with sponsorship from Caterpillar Inc. Aurora, IL. There are a variety of opportunities for student participation including- project management/tracking, web site design and updates, marketing and publicity, parts procurement and tracking, mechanical build team, electrical build team, programming team, and many others. Government Club
The Government Club seeks to increase student and staff awareness about the way the American system of government works and how citizens can be involved in their local, state and federal governments.  It also serves as a vehicle to advance academic competition through Illinois Youth and Government (Springfield, IL), Harvard Model Congress (Boston, MA) and Close Up (Washington, D.C.).

Horticulture Club / FFA (Future Farmers of America)
The Horticulture Club/FFA is open to any and all students interested in horticulture or floral design.  Members become involved in a variety of activities related to specific holidays and seasons including fundraisers, sales, FFA competitions, and conferences.  Meetings: Thursdays, G137,

Students meet to discuss issues of diversity and design activities to introduce students to various cultural groups within the school.  Meets Thursdays, 2:45-3:30 in F132.

Newspaper Club
The Newspaper Club is responsible for the monthly publication of the OEHS student-designed newspaper, THE EDGE. Students with strong writing skills and a genuine interest in the professional process of student journalism are encouraged to participate. Meeting times vary.

Photography Club
Photography Club will explore the use of digital and traditional photography.  We will go on group photo shoots and learn to import our digital photos in Photoshop.  As time and money allow, we will work in the darkroom.

Yearbook Club
The Yearbook club assists in the creation of the Wolf’s Eye Yearbook.  Junior and Seniors that have competed one semester of Applied Visual Communications are invited to join the club and assist in planning, organizing and creating the yearbook.  Members of the club also assist in fundraising projects such as the coordination of the Talen Show and various other projects.  Meetings are scheduled according to deadlines set by the publisher.
