Thursday, May 14

Oswego East finished up their regular season game with a 7-1 conference win over Plainfield South.  Jill Hall and Kerri Jednachowski both tallied in 3 goals, while Jessica Alvarez scored her first goal of the season.  Jessica Wittich, Jednachowski and Sarah Hossfeld all had an assist in the game.  The Wolves finished conference 5-2 and 15-4-2 overall.

Wednesday, May 13

The Wolves played Geneva High School, Wednesday night, with a 0-0 tie.  The game got called in the second half due to weather conditions.  The Wolves record is 14-4-2.

Monday, May 11

OEHS were Bartlet High School Tournament Champions after a 1-0 victory over Glenbard East High School.  After a scoreless game the two high schools went into penalty kicks to determine a winner of the game.  It came down to the 5th, and final, pk with Joanna Lee scoring the game winning pk for the Wolves.  The Wolves are now 14-4-1.

Saturday, May 9

With a 3-0 victory over Glenbard North on Saturday and a forfeited game against Plainfield South, the Wolves improve their record to 13-4-1.  OEHS is undefeated in the Bartlett Tournament and have potential to win their very first tournament with a final game over Glenbard East on Monday night.  The 13-4-1 record is the best the Wolves have had as a program.

Friday, May 8

Friday was the first game OEHS played in the Bartlett tournament.  With a scoreless game both teams moved on to penalty shots.  Samantha Adams would be the player to score the penalty shot that would give the 1-0 victory to OEHS.

Thursday, May 7

Oswego East's senior night turned out to be a great one for their 6 seniors.  After playing 2 halves of soccer, OHS and OEHS were tied 1-1.  Kerri Jednachowski would tie up the game in the second half with an unassisted goal.  After two scoreless overtime halves the two teams went into penalty shots.  Senior, Joanna Lee would put in the last and final penalty shot to give the Wolves a victory over OHS.  This moves the Wolves to 10-4-1 overall and 4-2 in the SPC Conference.

Monday, May 4

Kerri Jednachowski had all 4 of the Wolves goals in Oswego East's 4-1 victory over IMSA.  Lauren Hoppensteadt assisted in 2 of Jednachowski's goals, while Bri Sampson had an assist of her own.  The Wolves improved their record to 9-4-1 on the season.

Monday, April 27

Oswego East tied West Aurora High School 1-1.  Lauryn Marchert was able to find the back of the net in the second half.  Katie Ross assisted Marchert's goal.  Wolves are now 8-4-1 overall.

Saturday, April 25

Saturday tallied the Wolves third and final game of the Lake Park Tournament.  Jill Hall and Alyson Lansky both had a goal against Dundee-Crown.  Katie Ross later tallied in two goals of her own.  The Wolves four goals were all unassisted and came in the first half.  The Wolves overall record improves to 8-4.

Friday, April 24

The Wolves played their second game in the Lake Park Tournament on Friday.  Oswego East's Kerri Jednachowski was able to put one away for the Wolves.  Jednachowski's goal was all OEHS would need to beat their opponents, Lake Park High School, 1-0.  Junior Lauryn Marchert earned the assist.

Thursday, April 23

Oswego East lost to the defending conference champ, Plainfield Central High School, 6-1.  Katie Ross had the Wolves lone goal with the assist going to Kerri Jednachowski.  OEHS holds a record of 6-4 overall and 3-2 in conference.

Monday, April 20

After two ten minute overtimes, followed by penalty shots, Oswego East lost their first conference game of the season to Plainfield North 4-3.  The Tigers started off the scoring in the first half with two goals.  The Wolves shortly answered back with two goals, both scored by Kerri Jednachowski, to make it 2-2.  The Wolves then opened up the second half with a goal by Katie Ross.  With 10 minutes left to play OEHS got called with a handball in the box giving PNHS a penalty kick to tie up the game.  After scoreless overtime, the game finally ended in penalty kicks with the Tigers coming out on top.  Assists of the game were by Bri Sampson, Ross, and Lauryn Marchert.  Wolves record is now 6-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

Saturday, April 18

The Wolves lost their first game, in the Lake Park Soccer Tournament, against Morton High School.  The Wolves struggled to find the back of the net with Morton putting in two goals to make the final score 2-0.

Thursday, April 16

Oswego East improved their overall record to 6-1 last night with a conference win over Morris High School.  The Wolves leading scorer, Katie Ross, started off the scoring with an unassisted goal in the first half of the game.  Lauren Hoppensteadt would find the back of the net next with an assist by Joanna Lee.  Other goals were scored by Aly Lansky, who also had an assist in the game, another goal by Ross, while Jillian Hall had two goals of her own.  Oswego East is now 3-0 in conference and play Saturday in their first tournament game of the seaon at Lake Park.

Tuesday, April 14

Oswego East improved their record to 5-1 with a win over Rosary High School.  All the scoring was done within the first 10 minutes of the game.  The Wolves first goal was scored by senior Kerri Jednachowski with the assist going to Lauren Hoppensteadt.  Katie Ross finished up the scoring of the game with an unassisted goal.  Final score was 2-0.

Thursday, April 9

Oswego East had their first home game of the season against Minooka High School on Thursday.  The Wolves improved their conference record to 2-0 and overall 4-1 after their 6-1 victory over the Indians.  Katie Ross, Joanna Lee, Alyson Lansky, and Nicole Cemkov all tallied in a goal over the Minooka Indians while Kerri Jednachowski had 2 goals of her own in the game.  Assists were made by Lauryn Marchert and Sarah Hossfeld.

Tuesday, April 7

The Oswego East Wolves tallied in their first loss of the season against Manteno High School on Tuesday.  The Wolves were only able to put in one of their 22 shots on goal.  Oswego East's lone goal came by sophomore Katie Ross who leads the Wolves in scoring this year with 5 goals.

Thursday, April 2

OEHS won their third game of the season defeating Romeoville Thursday night.  The final score was 5-2 with 3 goals by sophomore Katie Ross, 1 goal by Lauren Hoppensteadt and another by Brianna Sampson.  Hoppensteadt and Sampson also tallied one assist each for the game.  The victory improves the Wolves to a 3-0 overall record and 1-0 in conference.

Monday, March 30

The Wolves won their second game, Monday night, against Fenton High School.  Lauren Hoppensteadt started of the scoring with a free kick in the first half.  The Wolves second goal was scored by Kerri Jednachowski while senior Joanna Lee assisted in the goal.  Sophomore Katie Ross continued to put OEHS ahead with a goal in the second half.  Bri Sampson assisted Jednachowski in her second goal of the game.  Fenton scored the last goal of the game in the second half making the final score 4-1 Wolves.

Monday, March 23

OEHS opened up their 2009 soccer season with a win over Glenbard South.  The Wolves scored their first goal in the first half with a finish by senior Kerri Jednachowski who was assisted by sophomore Katie Ross.  The Wolves then went on to make their lead 2-0 with a second goal by Junior Lauryn Marcher with Ross tallying up her second assist of the season.  GSHS scored in the end of the second half to make the final score 2-1.  Wolves goalie, Brittani Whaly had 14 saves in the game.
