Congratulations to Jourdan Jackson and Jasmine Davis on making the Southwest Prairie All Conference Team. Arneasa Blair was also named to special mention all conference. The Beacon News will officially announce their all area team on Friday, March 26th. Jasmine Davis was named honorable mention while Jourdan Jackson will be on the second team all area. Jourdan Jackson will leave as the 1st ever two time all conference player in school history. Congratulations girls!!!!!!!!!

The dates for the Wolves Winter Classic have been announced. The tournament will run Dec. 26, 28, 29, 30. This year's classic will included the following teams: Aurora Central, Joliet Central, Downers Grove South, South Elgin, Elgin Larkin, Plainfield East, Plainfield Central, Plainfield North, West Chicago, Lemont, Aurora Christian, Kaneland, East Aurora, Addison Trail Andrew, and the host school Oswego East.

OEHS 66, PSHS 36
The Lady Wolves had two big quarters in their 30 point victory over the Cougars. They had a 21 and 26 point quarters to help extend the lead during the game. Jourdan Jackson led the Wolves with 22 points, 7 rebounds & 4 assists. Britney Glende had 14 points, Arnesa Blair had 12 points, while Jamine Davis had 7 rebounds, and Kyla Moore had 5 assists.
The Lady Wolves have finished the regular season at 19-8 & 11-3 finishing in 2nd place in conference play.
OEHS 53, Minooka 59
It was a good game against Minooka on Tuesday as the Lady Wolves and the Indians were tied after 3 quarters of play. Unfortunately Minooka put in 3 more baskets in the fourth quarter after a tough battle. Jourdan Jackson led the way with 22 points, 10 rebounds, & 6 steals, Jasmine Davis chipped in 11 points & 10 rebounds and Arnesa Blair came up strong with 12 points.
OEHS 45. Romeoville 37
Jourdan Jackson helped put away the Spartans with 15 points & 9 rebounds. Arnesa Blair added 10 points & Kayla Boers cleaned up 7 rebounds off the bench.
OEHS 40, OHS 52
Jourdan Jackson led the way with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a tough game against our crosstown rival Panthers.
OEHS JV 36, Yorkville JV 35
It was a wild night for the JV girls when Ashlee Cantrell gave an assist to Allison Bam for the three pointer with 8 seconds to go to take the lead by one point. Leading scorer was Kiki Dwight with 14 points with Allison Baum chipping in 8.
OEHS 34, Batavia 37
Tough night shooting in the fourth quarter for OEHS Lady Wolves as the Bulldogs held them to 6 points in the fourth quarter. Jourdan Jackson led in scoring with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
OEHS 43, PNHS 37
It was a tough battle at Plainfield North on Friday night. The Wolves were led by Jourdan Jackson with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 steals. Brittney Glende and Arnesa Blair added 9 points each in the Wolves victory.
OEHS 64, PEHS 33
It was a big night for OEHS vs. Plainfield East on Teacher Appreciation Night. Jasmine Davis led the way with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Brittany Glende had three big 3-point field goals to go along with her 13 points, Jourdan Jackson added 13 points while going 11/12 from the free throw line plus 7 rebounds. Arnesa Blair helped out with 9 points and Leah DeBois grabbed 8 rebounds coming off the bench.
OEHS 42, Yorkville 40
It was an exciting night near the Fox River with a shot made by Kiara Dwight with 0.8 seconds left on the clock along with being fouled. Kayla Boers gave Kiara a great assist to help seal the victory. Allison Baum led the way with 12 points including three 3-point baskets. Ashlee Cantrell had 7 points, Neysha Campbell & Kiara Dwight had 6 points in the victory.
OEHS 29, East Aurora 50
It was a tough night for the Lady Wolves. Jasmine Davis led the way with 10 points while Jourdan Jackson had 9 in a tough loss to the Lady Tomcats.
OEHS 56, Hinsdale South 40
The Lady Wolves finished out the week with a big win over Hinsdale South. The team had a balanced attack of scoring led by Jasmine Davis with 13 points, 7 rebounds, & 4 steals; Jourdan Jackson had 12 points & 10 rebounds, Arnesa Blair had 11 points & 5 assists, Brittney Glende had 8 points, Marissa Craft had 7 points & 5 steals, and Kyla Moore continues to help her teammates out with 7 assists & 3 steals.
OEHS 60, Minooka 56
Jourdan Jackson led the way with a huge game scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds including a huge one on defense during the last minute of the game. Jasmine Davis added 15 points 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and a great first quarter to get us rolling. Arnesa Blair helped with 12 points including 3 free throws toward the end of the game to seal the victory. Kyla Moore had a fantastic night finishing with 6 points and 7 assists.
OEHS 65, Plainfield Central 53
Jasmine Davis led the Wolves with 22 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Brittany Glende added 13 points & Jourdan Jackson had 11 points in the victory.
Oswego East 48, Andrew 25
The Wolves advanced to the semi-finals for the first time in school history for their own tournament. Jourdan Jackson led the way once again with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Jasmine Davis chipped in 10 points and 3 rebounds. Marissa Craft was stellar at the defensive end while also contributing 6 rebounds. Kyla Moore led the team 6 assists. The Wolves are now 11-3 overall.
Oswego East 43, Kaneland 31
The Wolves earned their 10th victory of the season and also advanced to the second round of the Wolves Winter Classic. Jourdan Jackson led the way with 14 points.
The JV girls won their first game this season with a 45-15 win over Plainfield Central. Ashley Cantrell led the way with 11 points. Kiara Dwight had 9 points and Leah DeBois had 8 points, 4 blocks and 8 rebounds.
OEHS 42, Plainfield North 38 i
Jourdan Jackson led the way with 20 points (8 coming in overtime), 10 rebounds and two block shots. Jasmine Davis (10 points, 11 rebounds) bailed out the Wolves in regulation to take the lead before Plainfield North tied the game to go into overtime.
Oswego East 61, Naperville North 49
The Wolves earned their 7th victory of the season on Saturday afternoon. Arneasa Blair led the way with 19 points and 3 assists. Jourdan Jackson also contributed an all around performance with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jasmine Davis gave another solid effort with 9 points and 6 rebounds. The bench played a huge role again with Brittney Glende chipping in 9 points and Ameera George adding 5 rebounds. The Wolves pulled away with a 19-10 third quarter push. The defense was led by Marissa Craft again. The Wolves are now 7-3.
Oswego East 56, Plainfield South 29
The Wolves earned their 6th victory of the year on Friday night. The Wolves dominated at the defensive end limiting the Cougars to 12 points through 3 quarters. Arneasa Blair had another fantastic night with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Jourdan Jackson contributed 15 points and 9 rebounds. Marissa Craft was the leader of the defensive assault with 6 steals while also contributing 8 points. Brittney Glende had another solid game off the bench 6 points and Leah DeBois also contributed 6 rebounds. The Wolves are 6-3 now with a 3-1 conference record.
Oswego East 75, Plainfield Central 37
The Wolves earned their 5th victory of the season in convincing fashion. The Wolves combined for 20 steals on night on their way to shooting 50% from the field. Marissa Craft (12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists) and Arneasa Blair (6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals and 3 assists) led the charge. The Wolves also had solid efforts from Jasmine Davis ( 9 points, 3 rebounds) and Jourdan Jackson (10 points, 7 rebounds). Kyla Moore played a wonderful floor game contributing 5 assists and 6 points. The bench played a huge part in this contest with great effort coming from Brittney Glende (11 points), Ameera George (3 rebounds, 4 points), Allison Baum (9 points), Leah DeBois (2 points, 1 block), Kayla Boers (4 points 7 rebounds) and Shay Jones scored her first varsity point. The Wolves are now 5-3 overall with a 2-1 conference record.
Oswego East 32, Oswego 43
The Wolves lost to their cross town rival over the weekend. Jasmine Davis led the way with 13 points and Jourdan Jackson chipped in 11 points to go with her 12 rebounds. The Wolves were able to hold Oswego to 18 first half points, but were only able to manage 14 themselves. Defensively, the Wolves were led by Kyla Moore, Marissa Craft and Arneasa Blair. Brittney Glende (6 points) and Ameera George (6 rebounds) both contributed off the bench.
Oswego East 62, Romeoville 46
The Wolves earned their first conference win and their fourth overall on Thursday night in Romeoville. Jourdan Jackson had a stellar game with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 steals. Jasmine Davis also contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Marissa Craft and Arneasa Blair were stout defenders all night. Craft and Blair combined for 6 steals. Kyla Moore played another solid floor game with 4 assists. The bench was very beneficial to the Wolves win with contributions coming from Kayla Boers (4 points), Ameera George (6 rebounds), Allison Baum (2 points), Neysha Campbell (2 steals). This pushes their overall record to 4-2 with a conference record of 1-0.
Oswego East 49, Glenbrook North 38
The Wolves finished the Mundelein Tournament 3-2 with a victory over Glenbrook North. Brittney Glende got the Wolves off to a quick start with two 3-pointers in the first minute on her way to lead the team in scoring with 14 points. Jasmine Davis had another solid effort with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Kayla Boers contributed in her first career start with 11 rebounds. The Wolves were very good defensively in the 1st and 4th quarters where they only yielded 5 and 7 points respectively. Allison Baum and Kyla Moore led the way on the defensive end. Jourdan Jackson finished the tournament with an 8 point and 7 rebound performance and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Kyla Moore had a career high with 7 assists.
Oswego East 41, Prairie Ridge 36
The Wolves earned their second win of the season. Jasmine Davis led the way with 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Wolves were very good on the defensive end surrendering 15 points in the 1st half. Marissa Craft led the way with 15 deflections. Jourdan Jackson had another solid effort with 9 points. Brittney Glende came off the bench to bury two 3-pointers and add 6 points. The bench played a huge role again from Kayla Boers (3 points), Ameera George and Allison Baum.
Oswego East 54, Mundelein 62
The Wolves suffered their second loss of the season on Wednesday afternoon. Jourdan Jackson led the charge again with 22 points. Marissa Craft contributed an all around game with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Arneasa Blair played through a turned ankle to contribute 2 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Wolves got a solid bench effort from Brittney Glende (9 points), Kayla Boers, Leah DeBois and Ameera George. The Wolves led by 12 points midway through the third quarter, but could not hold on.
Oswego East 45, Highland Park 40
The Wolves earned their first victory for the season at the Mundelein tournament Tuesday night. Jourdan Jackson led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Jasmine Davis had another solid effort with 10 points and 5 rebounds. The offense was in sync due to the play of East's duel point guards Arneasa Blair (6 points, 4 assists) and Kyla Moore (2 points, 4 assists). The defense was led by Marissa Craft and LaNeysha Campbell who were both able to shut down the Giants' best player for most of the night. Brittney Glende added three 3-pointers for the Wolves.
Oswego East 49, Grayslake North 50
The Wolves suffered their first loss of the season on Monday night. The Wolves came out strong leading 27-17 at the end of the first half. The Wolves were led by a strong performance from Jourdan Jackson (28 points, 10 rebounds). Arneasa Blair put on a strong all around performance (7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals). Jasmine Davis chipped in 7 points and 5 rebounds. The Wolves were led defensively by Marissa Craft with 6 deflections.

Plainfield South - 16
The Wolves finished out the season strong with a wide-margined victory over Plainfield South Thursday night. The girls won their last game, 70-16. The win was a total team victory while all ten of the players scored in the game. Freshman Le'Royia Campbell stepped up, scoring 21 points on the night. Another freshman, Brittany Brough had a good game, adding 14 points. The Wolves played great defense, which led to a great performance on offense. The team finished out a great season with an overall record of 16-6 and a conference record of 10-4.

Minooka - 27
The Wolves added another win to their record with a victory over Minooka on Tuesday night, 34-27. Le'Royia Campbell led the team with 11 points, and Dwight pitched in with 10. The team's overall record is now 15-6, while they are now 9-4 in conference.

The Sophomore Girls Basketball Team defeated Romeoville on Friday night, 49-31. Ariel Michalek had a big game scoring 17 points, 11 of them in the second quarter alone. Kike Dwight also added 11 points. The Wolves are now 14-6 overall and 8-4 in conference.

Oswego - 47
The Sophomore Girls lost to their rival, Oswego Panthers, on Thursday night. The Wolves led by 8 in the third quarter, but the Panthers put on an aggressive zone defense that the girls could not handle. The team fought hard, but unfortunately came up short in the end. Le'Royia Campbell had a big game tossing in 19 points for the Wolves. Kike Dwight added 10. The team is now 13-6 overall and 7-4 in conference.
Oswego East - 36
Batavia - 37
The Wolves lost a tough one on Tuesday night to Batavia, 37-36. The Wolves were down by 4 at the half, but came back to tie the game in the 4th quarter. However, the girls lost on a last second shot by the Bulldogs. Kike Dwight led the team with 13 points, while Nisede Thomas added 9 and Le'Royia Campbell pitched in with 8. The Wolves are now 13-5 overall and 7-3 in conference.
Oswego East - 46
Plainfield East - 41
The Wolves came up with another hard fought victory on Friday night. They beat Plainfield North, 46-41 in overtime. The team was down by five with 30 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Ariel Michalek drained a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to put the Wolves down by two. As the Tigers tried to inbound the ball after that basket, Michalek turned around and deflected the pass and saved the ball to her teammate before it went out of bounds. The Wolves set up a play with 10 seconds left. Dwight drove to the basket and buried a runner in the lane to tie the game with four seconds left and send the game into overtime. In overtime, the Wolves were down by three at one point, but then they picked it up. Nisede Thomas made a lay-up, Michalek made a 3-pointer, and finally Dwight made two key free throws to seal the victory. Thomas had a big game, pouring in 21 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Michalek added 13 points, and Dwight scored 12. Tifah Tanze came off the bench to give the team a defensive spark in the 4th quarter and in overtime. The Wolves are now 13-4 overall and 7-3 in conference.
Oswego East - 47
Plainfield East - 21
The Wolves got a victory on Friday night against Plainfield East, 47-21. The team led 25-11 at the half and came out with even more intensity in the second half, outscoring the Bengals 14-2 in the third quarter. The Wolves were led by Kylee Jackson with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Le'Royia Campbell added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Nisede Thomas pitched in with 6 points and 6 rebounds. The win was another total team effort. The girls went a team best, 13 for 17 from the free throw line. The girls' overall record is now 12-4, while they are 6-3 in conference.
The Sophomore Girls got a victory against East Aurora on Tuesday night, 49-25. The Wolves had a big second quarter, scoring 17 points. Kike Dwight led the team with 15 points, while Kylee Jackson added 13. The Wolves overall record is currently 11-4 and 5-3 in conference.
The Sophomore Girls defeated Glenbard South's JV team on Monday night, 41-38. Nisede Thomas had a huge game leading the Wolves to a 16-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. Thomas was hot scoring 10 points in the first period. Glenbard South ended up making the game close. However, the Wolves kept their composure in the final minutes of the game to get the victory. Kike Dwight hit two big free throws with 10 seconds left to put the Wolves up by 3. Thomas led the team with 18 points while Dwight had 9 points. Le'Royia Campbell added 8 points. The Sophomore Girls now have a record of 10-4 overall and 5-3 in conference.
The girls played the best offensive game of the season on Saturday afternoon against Hinsdale South. The Wolves scored an impressive 62 points to the Hornets' 27 points. They scored 22 points in the second quarter alone. The win was obtained with great team effort. The scoring was very balanced: Le'Royia Campbell (12 points), Kike Dwight (11 points), Nisede Thomas (10 points), Ariel Michalek (9 points). Several other girls contributed in the scoring column as well. The Wolves are now 9-4 overall and 5-3 in conference.
The Wolves beat their conference opponent, Minooka Indians, on Friday night, 44-34. The team was up 15-12 at halftime. They outscored the Indians by 7 points in the third quarter to lengthen their lead. Nisede Thomas led the Wolves on the offensive end with 13 points, hitting 7 out of 10 free throws, and 5 rebounds. The Wolves were led on the defensive end by Kike Dwight who played aggressively racking up 5 steals. She also had 3 assists, The girls now have an overall record of 8-4 and a conference record of 5-3.
The Wolves beat Plainfield Central 41-33. Le'Royia Campbell led the team with 14 points and 5 rebounds while Nisede Thomas pitched in with 13 points. The girls are now 7-4 overall and 4-3 in conference.
The Oswego East Sophomore Girls are Consulation Champions! The Wolves beat the Morris Redskins 44-31, to win the Consulation Championship at the Ottawa Holiday Tournament. The girls worked hard on the defensive end to get the win. Ariel Michalek had 5 steals for the Wolves, while Kylee Jackson added 4 and Kike Dwight added 3. Offensively, Nisede Thomas led the team with 12 points, including 9 of 11 from the free throw line. Dwight added 11 points, while Le'Royia Campbell and Michalek contributed with 8 and 7 points. Jackson and Thomas each pulled down 7 rebounds. The win was a team effort. The Wolves now have an overall record of 6-4 and a conference record of 3-3.

Prairie Central - 48
The sophomore girls lost to Prairie Central, 48-31, in the first game of their Holiday Tournament in Ottawa. Le'Royia Campbell led the Wolves with 10 points. Kylee Jackson and Nisede Thomas led the team on the defensive end with 5 and 4 steals. The girls are now 4-4 overall and 3-3 in conference.
Oswego East - 42
Pontiac - 26
The Wolves came out victorious in their second game of the Holiday Tournament. They beat Pontiac, 42- 26. The girls scored 19 points in the third quarter alone in order to secure the win. The team was led by Kylee Jackson with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Le'Royia Campbell pitched in with 10 points, while Kike Dwight added 9. This victory puts the Wolves in the consulation championship. Their record is now 5-4 overall and 3-3 in conference.

Plainfield East - 44
The Wolves lost another tough one to Plainfield East on Friday night, 44-43. Kylee Jackson (10 points), Reigna Whiteside (10 points), Kike Dwight (9 points), and Ariel Michalek (9 points) led the team in scoring. Jackson also added 12 rebounds and 4 steals for the Wolves, while Whiteside had 4 steals. The Wolves are now 4-3 overall and 3-3 in conference.
The Sophomore Girls lost to Plainfield North on Tuesday, 47-36. Kylee Jackson (10 points, 6 rebounds) and Kike Dwight led the team in scoring. The Wolves are now 4-2 overall and 3-2 in conference.
The Sophomore Girls battled to come up victorious against the Naperville North Huskies on Saturday afternoon. The final score was 30-28. The Wolves played hard the entire game in order to come up with the win. Reigna Whiteside led the team in scoring with 8 points. Kylee Jackson played a great all-around game scoring 7 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and blocking 4 shots. Kike Dwight added 6 points. The Wolves overall record is 4-1 and 3-1 in conference.
The Wolves beat Plainfield South on Friday night, 43-16. This victory was a total team effort. The team was led by Kylee Jackson with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Kike Dwight and Nisede Thomas contributed with 8 points apiece, while Ariel Michalek added 7. The sophomore girls team is now 3-1 overall and in conference.
The Oswego East Sophomore girls defeated Plainfield Central by a score of 44-22. The girls stepped it up defensively creating several turnovers. Kike Dwight recorded 8 points, 7 steals, and 7 rebounds. Kylee Jackson added 4 points, 6 steals, and 10 rebounds. The Wolves were led in scoring by Reigna Whiteside with 14 points, including 3 three-pointers. Nisede Thomas also added 9 points. The Wolves overall and conference record is now 2-1.
Oswego East-51, Romeoville-43
The Wolves earned their first win of the season defeating Romeoville, 51-43. Kylee Jackson let the team with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Reigna Whiteside pitched in with 11 points. The girls are now 1-1 overall and in conference.
The Oswego East Freshman Girls A team ended the season on a high note defeating Plainfield South High School 21-16. Reagan Quick lead the Wolves with 8 points, Sydney Moore and Megan Ross both scored 4 points. In the B game the Wolves lost 24-17. Nina Rajcevic and Ashley Madryk both scored 6 points.
The Wolves were defeated 43-9 in the A game and 37-15 in the B game against Minooka. Shots were not falling against the Indians that day but defensively Iman LeSure lead the Wolves.
In a battle against Romeoville Oswego East freshman A lost 41-24. Rachel Walker had a great third quarter putting up a total of 9 points for the Wolves.
In the second cross-town rival match up of the season the Wolves were defeated by the Panthers 34-22 in the A game and 31-17 in the B game. Sydney Moore lead the Wolves with 5 points and Jessica Bumby hit the first three point shot for the Wolves this season.
In a tough battle against Batavia, Oswego East came up short loosing 21-33 to the Bulldogs. Brittany Brough fought hard in the paint putting up 9 points. In the B game the Wolves lost 21-57.
The freshman girls lost to Plainfield North 18-31 in the A game. Reagan Quick lead the Wolves with 6 points. In the B game the Wovles were defeated 13-29. Toni Robinson lead the team with 7 points.
The Wolves battled Plainfield East for the second time this season. Brittany Brough lead the A team with 7 points and great defense. The team lost 35-12. The B team was lead by Marilyn Caruso and Nina Rajcevic. They lost 32-9.
The Wolves were defeated by East Aurora. The A team lost 40-12 and the B team lost 43-14.
Whe Wolves fought hard against Hindsdale South. Rachel Walker and Toni Robinson scored 4 points each while Ashley Madryk lead the Wolves with 6 points. The A team lost 28-17 and the B team lost 15-11.
The Freshman Wolves battled Minooka in a rescheduled game. The A team was defeated 36-10. In the B game the Wolves lost 33-6.
The Freshman Girls Basketball Team lost the A and B games against Plainfield Central. Brittany Brough was the high scorer for the Wolves scoring 5 of the teams 8 points in the A game. The team lost 28-8. In the B game the Wolves lost 35-12. Reghan Quick was the leading scorer with 5 points.
The Freshman A Wolves took third place in the Rosary tournament finishing with one win and two losses. On Tuesday, December 15 the Wolves lost 34-13 to Geneva. On Wednesday, December 16 they lost to Rosary 27-13. On Thursday the Wolves played well to defeat M. Assisi 28-24. Brittany Brough was the leading scorer for the Wolves putting up 22 points in the tournament. Rachel Walker hit two key free throws against Mt. Assisi in the fourth quarter to clinch the win.
The Freshman Wolves lost to Plainfield North 43-26 in the A game and 30-18 in the B game. Brittany Brough and Rachel Walker lead the Wolves with 7 points each.
The Freshman Wolves had a tough night against Plainfield Central. The A team lost 26-17 and the B team lost 41-7. Brittany Brough lead the Wolves with 6 points and Brianna Duarte scored 5 points.
The Oswego East Freshman A Team defeated Romeoville 25-23. The team came out strong in the second half scoring 10 points in the third and 11 points in the fourth. Iman LeSure was the leading scorer with 8 points. Ashley Madryk hit a clutch bucket in the fourth and followed it up with two free throws to give the Wolves the lead.
