Rock River Canoe Trip for High Schoolers
Are you a high school student looking for an outdoor adventure? Then we are looking for you! Plan to spend June 5-7 with us as we paddle the beautiful Rock River through Ogle County, less than two hours from home. Minimal outdoor experience is required for this canoe/camping adventure. Join us for two nights as we camp at Lowden State Park, canoe the river, and enjoy a second night of primitive camping at Castle Rock State Park.  The cost of $125 includes food, transportation, camping fees, permits and canoes. Participants will need their own personal gear. Group gear (cooking, tents) will be provided. You can find more details on our website at www.kcoutdoored.org.

The deadline for registration is May 22, so act fast. To register, or for more information, contact Deanna Bazan at the Kendall County Outdoor Education Center at 630-553-7108, or email at dbazan@roe24.org. Listen and you might hear the mighty Rock River calling you!
