Students find volunteering personally rewarding and it adds a component to resumes and scholarship applications. Stop by the Student Services office and pick up a verification form. Have the site supervisor sign the sheet and return it to Student Services where we will continue to track your progress towards the ultimate goal of 150 hours.

Call your local Chamber of Commerce (554-3505) or the church of your choice to see if any local organizations are looking for volunteers. If you are thinking of pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, volunteer at an animal shelter for some hands-on experience. If you are planning on entering the medical field, volunteering at a hospital or clinic would be a great resume builder! There are many calls for volunteers in articles published in the local newspapers.
