Mu Alpha Theta-Mathematics Honor Society
Oswego East is proud to announce Mu Alpha Theta, a National High School Mathematics Honor Society. New to Oswego East this year, our chapter consists of 101 students. These students have completed Algebra 2 or Algebra 2 Honors with an A or B, while maintaining a math GPA of 3.7 or better – a superior accomplishment! One of the responsibilities these members hold will be helping in the math center for the remainder of the school year. Members will have the opportunity to design and purchase a t-shirt, create a bulletin board filled with math topics, and apply for awards and scholarships. Senior members will also be eligible to purchase an Honor Cord to show off their love of math at graduation.
