English Department - Assessments
Variations in assessment are made with the intent to differentiate instruction and personalize education for each student. Grading policies for each course are set at the discretion of the teacher, in keeping with the department guidelines printed below. Due to the unique nature of each course, teachers may not need to use each type of assessment or may not use them at the same time during the course. Please see individual course syllabi for details on grading policies, late work policies and classroom procedures.
