Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences are the perfect opportunity to touch base with your child’s teachers to discuss their achievements and any other issues that might affect your child’s performance at school.
Murphy Junior High will likely use PTC Wizard, an online program which allows you to schedule your own appointments with your child’s teachers. Access to the PTC Wizard site will be provided closer to Parent/Teacher Conferences.

The system works on a first come, first served basis, and there is a limited number of appointments available for each teacher. Please keep in mind that in order to meet with any of your child’s teachers, you must set up a pre-arranged appointment through our on-line system. If your schedule does not allow for you to come in when the teachers have availability, please contact the teacher directly for a phone conference. Teacher phone numbers are available from the Staff Directory link at the right of this page.
Sign In - If you have used the system before you can use the same user name and password you created previously. If you are new to the system, you will need to start by creating a user name and password. Click on "Begin the Wizard." The wizard will walk you through the entire process. If you have questions as to how to use the system or do not have access to a computer, but wish to arrange a conference, please contact the office at (630) 608-5100.
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parents/Guardians of Murphy Junior High School Students are invited to schedule Parent Teacher Conferences with their student's teachers for Monday, November 5th between 3:00-8:00pm and Tuesday, November 6th between 8:00-11:00am. Murphy Junior High School will be utilizing the PTC wizard system for scheduling conferences. This online system allows parents to schedule appointments quickly and easily. Please follow the instructions below:
To Begin:
To Register/Sign in:
If you have used PTC wizard before you will enter your information on the left side of the screen under Returning Parents (email address and the password you selected when you registered the first time you used the system), then click Sign In. If this is the first time you are using the system, then you should enter your information on the right side of the screen under First time/Register here (first name, last name, email, confirm email, password, confirm password), then click Register. You must add at least one student to your account. The system will pre-fill your last name for your student, (which you can change if necessary).
To Schedule Conferences:
After you have added your student(s) to your account, click the link that says Return to PTC wizard, this will return you to the Start Wizard page. Here you will verify your child's information, click Continue. Step 1 will display a list of available conferences 2012 Fall Day 1 (for November 5th 3:00-8:00) or 2012 Fall Day 2 (for November 6th 8:00-11:00) select one and click Continue. You will see a list of teachers, select the teacher(s) with whom you wish to make an appointment. You may select multiple teachers. Once you click the continue button, you will be asked to confirm your choices. Click the Continue button if you are happy with your selections, or click the Back button to edit them. If you have selected more than one teacher, you will see a side by side schedule with all the teachers you requested. If you have one student click the box next to the time(s) you wish to reserve, if you have more than one student, specify the child for each time slot you wish to reserve, click Continue. You are finished. An email with your schedule is automatically sent. You can always reprint or re-email your schedule by selecting the My Schedule link in the PTC wizard section. You can also cancel an appointment by checking the Cancel Appointment check box and clicking the Cancel button.
