He's back for another year!  This is his 2nd year at Long Beach School, but has worked in administration before.

He has been a Principal for the three years at Jamaica School District in Sidell, Illinois. Sidell is located about 30 minutes southeast of Champaign, Illinois. Before Jamaica, he was an elementary teacher for 10 years in the Jacksonville School District system located in Jacksonville, Illinois, a town located about 30 minutes west of Springfield, Illinois. In Jacksonville, He has taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades at Lincoln Elementary School. 

He has four brothers that reside in Indiana and North Carolina.  He is originally from the Lockport area and wanted to relocate back to this area for some time.

He is very excited to be here!

He is also starting his second year with us!

Jacob came to us from Carol Stream School District where he was a Math Curriculum Coordinator. He also taught 5th grade in Lisle, Illinois. Jacob earned his bachelor degree from Illinois State University and his Masters in administration (Type 75) from Benedictine University.

In his spare time Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and practicing the martial arts. He also enjoys Frisbee golfing, fishing, mountain biking, and watching sports. Jacob feels that he relates well to kids because he shares many different interests.

When asked about coming to Long Beach, he said, “I am excited to be part of the Long Beach Team and the Oswego community. I look forward to learning and growing with this community.“
