District 308 Mission Statement 

The Mission of the Oswego Community Unit Schools, a unique partnership of students, staff, families, and community, is to ensure each student develops the capacity to thrive as a successful contributing citizen by providing exemplary educational experiences in a safe, caring, and responsive learning environment. 

Objectives

• At least 97% of our students will meet or exceed district and state standards by 2012.

• All students will understand, develop and consistently demonstrate the character traits of responsibility, trustworthiness, citizenship, caring, fairness and respect.

• Each student will achieve challenging personalized goals in preparation for a successful transition to further education or a meaningful endeavor of his or her choice.
