About the Administration
David Brusak, Principal
Aaron Dudley, Assistant Principal

I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to introduce
myself to you. My name is Aaron Fedanzo-Dudley and I am the new
Assistant Principal here at Lakewood Creek. I am very excited to be
here and look forward helping our students become the best they can
be. I truly believe that all of the people who touch our students’
lives need be involved in a positive way. When I started teaching I
heard a co-worker state “Education is like triangle. The parents,
students, teachers/staff make up the three sides of the triangle.
Without one the triangle will collapse.” This saying has always
stuck with me and I truly believe that all three components are
vital to our success. Parents, students, and staff need to believe
in the educational process and choose to have a positive and
cooperative attitude everyday.
I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2002. I
completed my student teaching in a 5th grade REI classroom. A REI
class is a regular education classroom with a cluster of special
education students who are being mainstreamed. I was then picked up
by the district to teach a 6th and 7th grade special education
position at the middle school. During this time I also tutored at
risk 4th grade students. I then joined the Valley View School
District at Wood View Elementary where I taught 3rd grade. Wood
View was a great place where I had a chance to work with wonderful
people. While at Wood View I was able to work with a wide range of
regular and special education students. I also had the opportunity
to work on the reading incentives committee and lead the schools
technology committee. In addition to my regular teaching
responsibilities I also had the opportunity to teach at risk 1st
grade students during the summer school programs for the 04 and 05
summers. While working for Valley View I was provided with top of
the line training in classroom management, techniques for
communicating with parents, integrating technology into the
curriculum, and best instructional practices. In addition, I was
also trained in PBIS, Baldrige, Flex West, Aims web,
differentiation, guided reading, and hands on science. I completed
my Masters Degree from Concordia University in the winter of 06.
My family and I live in Yorkville. My wife is a pre-school
teacher and our two children are the loves of our lives. Hailey is
two and becoming very independent and Alexis is one and learning how
to talk. Our third child is our Boxer named Roscoe. I really enjoy
athletics, especially football, and spending time with my family.
Once again I am excited to be here and look forward to working
with all of you. If you need anything throughout the year please
remember that Rafael and I are here to support you.
