Dear Lakewood Creek Families:
It has been an amazing year at Lakewood Creek School and certainly one to remember! More than ever we have witnessed what can be done when the school, parents, and the community at-large come together to provide the students of Lakewood Creek with the best opportunities to grow in every way. We had an extremely lengthy list of volunteers, our spectacular HSO, our caring and committed staff, along with numerous community members and businesses that have contributed to the success of our special place for learning. Please take a moment to read and view all of the special opportunities offered to the students during this last quarter.
I would like to thank the following businesses for all of the donations this year in support of our Reading Celebration, Character Counts Program, ISAT Test Raffle, and the Breakfast Book Chat:
Rosati’s Pizza in Montgomery, Oswego Cyclery, Walmart, Target, Jimmy Johns, Raging Waves, Kendall 10, Great Clips, Sugar Grove Family Fun Center, Applebees, Aurora Skate Center, Bounce Town, Buffalo Wild Wings Oswego, Bouno Beef, Chili’s Oswego, Red Robin, Sonic, and Funway Batavia.
I would also like to thank our entire HSO for everything they do for our students through their numerous events, volunteerism, and financial generosity – there is no better! I would like to take a moment to thank our outgoing HSO Executive Board members their tireless service – many of which have served upwards to 10 years on the Executive Board. The staff had a very warm send-off at the last HSO meeting earlier in May:
