Q: How can I report a student absent from school?
A: Each day a student is absent from school a parent (or legal guardian) must call his or her child’s school attendance office before 10:00 a.m. If a call is not received, the absence will be unexcused. The reporting of absences requires a phone call; notes are not accepted.

I am new to Oswego. How do I register my child or children for school?

New students may be registered for the current school year at any time prior to the last day of school. Proper documentation and proof of residency must accompany the student at time of registration. Please find the school that your child/children will be attending. Questions concerning registration and the Oswego Community Schools can be addressed by calling us at 630.636.2404.

 

When do I find out what time the bus will be coming to pick up my children?

School bus routes are posted on the Transportation Web page along with being posted in the Ledger. Please note the date at the bottom of the Transportation Web page for the last update. There may be changes to the transportation times from now to the start of school.

 

What time does school start and end for regular and special school days?

When can I drop off and pickup my child at school?

Elementary students may be dropped off no earlier than 8:25 am and picked up no later than 3:40 pm.

Junior high students may be dropped off no earlier than 7:45 am and picked up no later than 3:15 pm.

 

How do I find out what is being served for lunch?

Monthly lunch menus are posted approximately one week in advance. Click here to view the current menu.

 

When are report cards delivered?

Reports are mailed to your home address or sent home with with your student a week after each of the four quarters during the school year. Junior high and high school grades may be accessed at any time using the Home Access Center.
