Mission Statement
To provide high quality academics and character education through the combined efforts of school, home and community. Through a balanced system of monitoring student progress, and addressing student strengths and weaknesses, we will work collaboratively to empower all children to learn and responsibly participate in a continuously changing world.

Visitors Policy
Visitors are welcome on school property, provided their presence will not be disruptive. All visitors must initially report to the Building Principal's office. Please contact the school for the visitor's entrance.

Any person wishing to confer with a staff member must contact that staff member by telephone to make an appointment. Conferences with teachers are held outside school hours or during the teacher's conference/preparation period.

  •  All visitors must sign in and out.
  • All visitors must wear a name tag.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Visits to Classroom
Please contact your student’s teacher to make plans for a classroom visit. This will ensure that the class is in the room, rather than at a special class such as P.E., or that the students are not involved in testing procedures when you arrive.

Our teaching assistants who supervise on the playgrounds have been advised to call the office if any adult other than an Hunt Club staff member is on the playground while students are present. You must have signed in at the office to accompany your student to a playground before school.

Visits at Lunchtime
Because of the number of Hunt Club students and the limited space we have for use as a cafeteria, we are no longer allowing visitors to eat with the students.

Please do not bring outside food, such as McDonald’s, Burger King, etc., as this can be quite distressful to the other students.
