This is my third year as the principal of Grande Park Elementary School. Before opening this school and becoming a Grizzly, I was the assistant principal at Lakewood Creek Elementary School. I have taught second and third grades at several Oswego District #308 elementary schools since 1999, including Old Post, Fox Chase, and Lakewood Creek. Prior to coming to this school district, I taught special education and third grade in the Wheaton Warrenville School District #200 since 1987.
I received my Bachelors Degree for Special Education from Illinois State University along with a certificate in Elementary Education and my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from University of St. Francis.
My husband, Scott, and I have lived in Oswego since 1991. We stay very busy carpooling, cheering, and supporting our children Michael, Matthew, and Emily in their extra-curricular activities which include (but are not limited to) football, art, and swimming. I am very proud to be a parent, educator, and administrator in this wonderful community and school district.
