I have been the principal of Fox Chase Elementary School since 2006. I had previously served as the assistant principal at East View Elementary School here in Oswego. I began my career in education as a teacher of students with learning disabilities, with most of that career also in the Oswego Schools, at Thompson Junior High School, Long Beach and East View Elementary Schools. I received my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and master’s degree from Northern Illinois University in learning disabilities. I later received my master’s degree in educational administration from Northern Illinois University. My husband and I live in rural Kane County, and we have two grown daughters, Carolyn and Julia.
It is my great pleasure to partner with the Fox Chase staff in serving the students and families of this community. Our mission statement guides us in our efforts: Learn! Achieve! Succeed! Developing knowledge and shaping character in a learning community.
My name is Patrick Haddock. I am honored and humbled to be the assistant principal for Fox Chase Elementary School. I am excited about the opportunity to build strong, positive relationships with the students, staff, and parents within this wonderful community.
I started my career in education in the state of Florida teaching fifth grade at Lost Lake Elementary School in the Lake County School District. Prior to coming to Oswego District 308, I taught fifth grade within Burlington Central School District 301 for six years while also serving as an administrator designee for the past three years. I attended Southern Illinois University where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Geography. I furthered my education with a master’s degree at Aurora University in Educational leadership.
I currently live in Yorkville, Illinois with my wife Karen and my three sons Nathan, Tyler and Cayden. I look forward to an exciting year and welcome the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic learning community.
