Greetings Churchill Families,
The end of the school year is fast approaching! As we reflect on the school year, we are grateful for the strong partnerships and commitments that we have shared with all of you to strengthen your child’s learning experiences. Please join us for a volunteer appreciation breakfast on Monday, May 21st from 8:30-9:30 AM. Please return the invitation with your RSVP. Thank you!
We have had some recent changes in staff for the remainder of the school year. Ms. Samantha Corban has joined the 5th Grade Team for Mrs. Sarah Saldana who welcomed a baby boy, Lincoln Cole Saldana, on April 12, 2012. Mrs. Sue Boardwine has replaced Mrs. Kerry Anne Engdahl as our morning Kindergarten Teacher. Mrs. Dotty Mockenhaupt has replaced Ms. Diane Lupi as our Social Worker. Mrs. Michele Layman has replaced Mrs. Marlene Frigo as a Learning Resource Teacher Assistant.
Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 7th! Please encourage your child to bring in a special note for his or her teacher during this week.
During the month of May, we celebrate all 6 Character Counts! pillars; Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship. Thank you for your support in promoting good character everywhere, all the time!
We appreciate your cooperation with following the Parent Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures that are in place. Please review the note that was sent home or look on the Churchill website, and adhere to the guidelines that have been established to assist us with the safety of our students. Remember to observe the school zone speed limits, that cell phone use in a school zone is prohibited, and to please enter at the Churchill Sign at Jessamine Drive and Secretariat Lane when picking up and dropping off students.
