2006-2007 School Improvement Plan
School Improvement Plan Committees As a school, we have several decision making committees as part of our school improvement process. On each committee we recruit parents, students, teachers, support staff, and community members to be involved. We believe that it truly does take an entire community to raise a child. We have 5 committees for the 2005-06 school year. The following listing indicates what the purpose and function of each committee is. Each of our school committees meets at 7:30am in the LRC. If you are interested in joining a committee please contact Mr. Schafermeyer or Miss Shore through the school office.
School Leadership Council The School Leadership Council is an advisory and decision making body for Boulder Hill School. This group is composed of teachers, parents, Student Senators, administrators, teacher assistants, community members, and support staff. The primary responsibility of the School Leadership Council is to direct the School Improvement Process. The Council deals with school policy issues, budget, and professional development. Most importantly the Academic Strategies Committee encourages ways for teachers to take risks and try out of the box ideas in their classroom and within our school. The Academic Strategies Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30am in the LRC. Academic Strategies Committee Agenda and Minutes

School Community Building & Awareness Committee The School Community Building and Public Awareness committee develops ways for the school to promote positive activities for children and families.
