Parent Organization

Each District 308 school is generously supported by the efforts of its parent organization. The individuals in these groups have graciously volunteered countless hours of time and effort to help our students thrive. From fund raising, assistance at school events, and the development of special programs to communicating with parents to keep them informed about their children’s education, the parent/school relationship is a critical and valued partnership. District 308 so strongly believes in the partnership between the school and families that it is the cornerstone of the district’s mission.

The district encourages parents to join their children in forming a close relationship with their school. By working together towards a common goal, everyone—especially our children—will benefit.

BEDNARCIK SPIRITWEAR

Dear Parents and Bednarcik families,

We are thrilled that you are interested in PTA and our web page. PTA is an important element in your child's growth and opportunities throughout their school years. PTA sponsors and supports your concession stands for after school sports, your child's after school activities/dances as well your child's field trips and special programs. PTA also plays a role in assisting our Staff with requested needs. There are any number of ways for you to be a part of your child's school days by becoming involved in PTA, as we are always looking for volunteers and new members. If you would like to join or volunteer for this most rewarding organization, please contact one of the PTA Executive Committee members for more information. You may still show your support should your schedule not allow you the time by simply becoming a PTA member. The cost of membership is $5.00 per person and you may join at any time during the school year. PTA is also a great introduction to school staff, parents and students.

If you would like to be added to the Bednarcik PTA distribution list, email bednarcikpta@earthlink.net and put in your subject, add me to the distribution list please.
