Parent Teacher Conferences

Dear Bednarcik Parents/Guardians:
You should have received your child’s interim progress report, and will soon be receiving 1st quarter grades. These reports will give you an indication of how your student is doing thus far in class. You will have the opportunity to discuss your student’s achievements with their teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences.
Dates for Fall 2009 Conferences are …
Monday, November 23rd
Tuesday, November 24th and
Wednesday, November 25th
As always, the conferences are meant for short updates (no more than 15 minutes with each teacher). If you feel you need more time, we will be happy to make arrangements at another mutually convenient time.
We are pleased to inform you that we will again be using our online program which allows you to schedule your own appointments with your child’s teachers. This system works on a first come, first serve basis, and there is a limited number of appointments available for each teacher. The conference website will not be activated until November 2nd. You can access the website by going to http://BEJH308.ptcwizard.com (do not type www.). On the reverse side of this letter is the instruction guide to walk you through the procedure. If you have any questions as to how to use the system, feel free to call Linn Kaney at (630) 636-2508. Please keep in mind that in order to meet with any of your child’s teachers, you must set up a pre-arranged appointment through our on-line system. If you are unable to schedule an appointment, feel free to contact the teacher to set up a telephone conference.
