Dust off your dancing shoes… seniors from Oswego High School are hosting a day of music and dancing at the 2012 OHS Dance Marathon to raise money for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital). The event takes place on Saturday, October 20, from noon to midnight in the OHS gymnasium.
“Hosting a dance marathon is a fun way to raise money for a serious cause,” said Taylor Boothby, one of the seniors coordinating the event. Participants will be dancing for a big cash prize, spectators can enjoy music and refreshments, and all of us will be helping kids get the treatments they need to get healthy. Our motto is, 'One Night. One Heart. One Cause.'”
