“I am excited and honored to be a Wolverine and I look forward to meeting and building wonderful relationships with the staff, students and parents of the Wolf's Crossing and Oswego community,” Weber said.
Weber began her educational career in 1999 as a fifth-grade classroom teacher in Community Consolidated School District 93 in Bloomingdale. After serving District 93 for six years, Weber moved to Plainfield School District 202 where she served in a variety of roles including a differentiation specialist and fifth-grade classroom teacher. Weber also has experience in curriculum, testing and differentiation.
“Ms. Weber brings a wealth of elementary teaching experience, and was looked to as a school leader while serving the Plainfield School District,” said Superintendent Dr. Matthew Wendt. “We are excited she is joining our administrative family as an assistant principal.”
Weber received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University. She also holds two Illinois certifications: Type 75-administrative endorsement and Type 03-elementary teaching K-9.
Weber resides in Chicago with her husband Jaime and two sons, Ethan, age 5 and Connor, age 7.
“As an elementary teacher with 14 years of experience, we know Ms. Weber has similar experiences as the students, teachers and staff at Wolf’s Crossing, which provides Ms. Weber a unique perspective to continue the complete support the Wolf’s Crossing Community has seen in the past,” Board President William Walsh stated.
