Mission Statement
The Mission of Oswego Community Unit Schools, a unique partnership of students, staff, families and community, is to ensure each student develops the capacity to thrive as a successful contributing citizen by providing exemplary educational experiences in a safe, caring and responsive learning environment.

Guiding Principles

School Improvement Plans will always be consistent with the Strategic Plan of the District.
No new program or service will be accepted unless it is consistent with the strategic Plan, benefits clearly justify costs, and provisions are made for staff development and program evaluation.
No program or service will be retained unless it continues to make an optimal contribution to the mission and the benefits continue to justify the costs.
Budgeted expenditures will not exceed budgeted revenues for normal operating expenses.
Behavior which demeans the dignity or self-worth of any individual or group will not be tolerated.
